This notice describes how the personal data of users visiting the website vannifiacchino.com (the “Website”) is processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended.

Types of data processed
- Browsing data. In the course of their normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures that run the Website collect certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. IP address, browser and device type, date and time of the request, pages visited). This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistics on the use of the Website and to ensure its proper functioning and security.
- Data voluntarily provided by the user. Optionally sending messages to the addresses and contact channels listed on the Website (email, Instagram, WhatsApp) entails the collection of the sender’s contact details, as well as any personal data included in those messages.
The Website does not use data-collection forms: all contact takes place through the direct channels listed above.
Purposes and legal basis of processing
- Responding to requests for information and managing business contacts — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at the data subject’s request and the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Ensuring the operation, security and maintenance of the Website — legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Compliance with legal obligations — legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Methods and place of processing
Data is processed using IT and electronic tools, with appropriate security measures in place to prevent loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access. The Website is hosted on the servers of the hosting provider (Netsons S.r.l.), located within the European Union.
Third-party services
- Hosting. The hosting provider processes browsing data as a data processor on behalf of the controller.
- Google Fonts. The Website may load typefaces from Google’s servers, which entails sharing the user’s IP address with Google LLC. Where the fonts are hosted locally on the Website, no such data is shared.
- Links to external platforms. The Website contains links to the controller’s social media and messaging profiles (Instagram, WhatsApp). Any processing carried out on those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Transfers of data outside the EU
Where the use of third-party services (e.g. Google Fonts) involves transferring data to non-EU countries, such transfers take place in accordance with the safeguards set out in Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
Retention period
Data is kept only for as long as strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and, thereafter, for any period required by law. Contact details relating to business enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to manage the relationship and any subsequent contact.

You may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR at any time: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection to processing and withdrawal of consent (where applicable). Requests can be sent to info@vannifiacchino.com.
